During an interview Dark Child aka Rodney Jerkins confirmed that he was submitting songs for Rihanna's
8th studio album. Of course the news came as no surprise. As we all
know, Rihanna's release pattern has been one album each year, with a
late fall release.
Like every year, whenever a new Rihanna album gets announced, half of
her fans and the occasional listener start to bitch around. But
seriously, what's the point? It has come to no surprise that after six
months into an album cycle, the Barbadian forehead starts to hit the
studio and work on her new album. For everyone who's telling a bitch to
take a fucking seat and have a break, simply don't bother. Y'all be the
first idiots to be all over her lead single like a fly over a pile of
doo-doo. I don't understand where the hatred comes from. A year without a
Rihanna single would be really awkward at this point. And I love me
some Riri, so pour it up girl.
